In the past, owning a horse was a symbol of prosperity, and the horseshoe was seen as a luxury, as it required a great expense. Since then, it has been believed that finding a horseshoe is a good omen that brings happiness. Later, horseshoes were found hanging from doors, in order to attract good luck. Carrying a horseshoe helps in obtaining good luck and happiness.
